You are in a movie theater. It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a popcorn monster.

You see a list on the screen.
> examine list
The list reads:

They're remaking CLASH OF THE TITANS!?!?!

I was just saying to someone a few .... years ago, that I was amazed it hadn't been remade yet. That movie is a fun time.

Also on the list of "I can't believe this doesn't have a remake yet" is Logan's Run... I hope they keep the Moses robe in, that was the best part!
RENEW!

I think I saw... two movies in theaters in 2009.

And half of those times were with you! Woah.

Anyway, I've put most of these movies on my list of "Rent these... eventually," now I must check your list from last year and see how many of them are on Netflix so far.

PS: Rewatched Return of the King the other night, and I am convinced the scene with the falling skulls is actually a lot of carmelized popcorn.

Given enough time, Hollywood will remake everything. Regarding Logan's run, they have been trying for years now, and it looks like it might be stuck in development hell.

Great Big Sea's Alan Doyle plays Alan A'Dale in Robin Hood! :)

Haven't heard of him or the band, but the name fits, at least.

whether good music will make for a good actor of course, one can't say, but it's interesting to know.

@Spatialrift: Celtic/Gaelic folk music

Will this Robin Hood speak with an English accent, unlike some other Robin Hoods?

Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSqL9ygBCck . It's Russell Crowe; he speaks briefly at 1:12 and I honestly cannot tell.

There's not much of an accent there. :< Then again, it was only one line.

Indeed they are - a chance to vote for more of them with my wallet is a large part of why I am going to see it in theaters.

Prince of Persia, if they do it right, will be 2 parts parkour, 2 parts snarkfest, and 1 part HOLY SHIT.

I feel like "dudes in bandom" would be a tremendously recursive, wonderfully terrible, name for a band.
