While I understand your reason for not wanting to continue livejournal, even though i am clueless as to who "rentals" is, i think ending this era would be a horrible idea

Sophie, I am of the opinion that yours are some of the most insightful/entertaining/visually appealing/leaving-us-all-in-suspense entries around. On the other hand... I understand your point of view. So how 'bout a compromise 'twixt you and your clamoring fans. Just go on hiatus for awhile. Take a break. Don't discontinue; that's a permanent goodbye.

I agree, your lj provides me hours of entertainment. I would be heartbroken if you left. I know we aren't good friends so this is the only way I get to find out what is going on in your life. In a very non-stalker like way of course.

While I completely understand your reasons, I would be really sad. I love the pictures and the writing, I wish I could write like you do. I would be really sad, what would I do next year? I'll tell you: I WOULD SIT IN SCOTLAND BY MYSELF AND MISS YOUR ENTRIES! Even if they were few and far between they would bring happiness into my little Scottish dorm.

Maybe I am being a bit greedy here, but I can't really speak for anyone else. I would miss them, a lot. And I will be missing you enough already. I mean you have been there for me through a lot of shit since I first told you the thing at prom, I don't want to lose touch, and live journal seems like a pretty good way for me to see whats up with Sophie without calling at two am (that would be ten am my time)
