Here's the tricky part, we left her out of the loop, intentionally on my part.
If she were to know what happen, there will be chaos, she stands on the side of justice (always), and I will be suspected of adultery.

this reminds me of: -

600 bucks that a fren's galfren owes me for copy-writing
2400 bucks from my prof's colleague for whom i conducted multiple classes~!

There shouldn't be any obligations with friends. Contracts are the best safety guards. And because money matters...
