Guess I'll be a considerate son of a bitch for once and wish people well. Merry Christmas, people. Hope you all had a fucking blast with whatever the hell you were doing with your cheerful Yuletide time~
That said, I did what I enjoy most while being stuck here in this cold during such a time. ...Which was getting together with my Okinawan brethren (and Jin), huddling around the warmest thing we could find, and exchanging gifts while trading stories and updates on what our folks are up to back home for the holidays. It was naturally awesome~ Though, oddly enough, we didn't end up getting wasted during it. .....Yeah, I know, I'm kinda surprised myself by that. Though Jin did make us some fucking awesome moonshine. But we decided to save it for New Years. It'll taste even better then~
...I also invited Chouta to join us for things. I was kinda surprised he showed up since he'd been looking like a sad sack when he thinks people aren't noticing, and no amount of fake smiles would've convinced me that he wasn't being a sad sack. I kept trying to get an answer out of him over what the hell is wrong, but he was being a stubborn little fuck and refused to tell me the truth. But if he thinks I'm not going to keep asking him until I get an actual honest answer, then he's sorely mistaken. I doubt I'm the only one who noticed either. In fact, I'm sure at least the rest of my gang have become equally curious over what the hell he's trying to avoid thanks to me repeatedly questioning him about it. So he's going to have to answer someone eventually if he expects me to stop~

He's still deciding~ ;3 As far as presents go, he would have given whatever those close to him would have enjoyed. He would have also included Rin and Yukimura in that equation, whether they were comfortable with that or not, because that's Chinen for you. ;D He also got things for people in his cabin. ...And yes, you got something very kind from him too, Shiraishi. He wasn't quite as sure what to get him, but he decided to go with something he recalled him liking a lot. So most likely a really poisonous and difficult to find plant. Enjoy your awkward moment of appreciation with him, as I'm sure he'll feel just as awkward over Shiraishi giving him something. ^^; ...However, Momo got nothing, because he just met the guy and didn't have time to plan for him. ...Plus he's being a difficult bastard in his mind, so he's not even bothering with a last minute gift for him. Maybe next year if they can find a way to come to terms somehow.
Edit: Oh yeah, and...something simple for Tomoka that can't necessarily be attributed back to him. Because that's an awkwardness he's sure neither of them want to deal with. >>;]
