Halfway into the class, it becomes apparent that Harry doesn’t need to touch anything to make Malfoy’s worst nightmares come true.
“Stop it,” he snaps as more and more flowers spread over their desk.
“I’m not doing it intentionally,” Harry snaps back.
“I swear to Merlin, if you put another flower crown on my head, I will single-handedly strangle you to death.”
Harry glowers at him but slowly moves away from the desk.
Rec Notes: This is an adorable eighth year one-shot fic, I enjoyed reading it. My favorite parts were the inclusion of Professor Slughorns infuriatingly convoluted answers and the additional story embedded into the fic, The Prince and the Knight. I also liked how the meaning of flowers was weaved into the story, it gave an extra layer to the plot to see how Harry’s feelings developed, both with Draco as a person and their relationship. Harry’s sass combined with Draco’s reluctant attitude make for funny dialogue and great story development. You should definitely give this fic a read if you want a quick feel-good 8th year Drarry story.
