Katara had been closely watching Azula’s every move. The water bender’s stance weakened as if she had been hit from behind. She was stunned. Princess Azula’s expression turned from a harsh angry to soft smile.
It felt like the most impossible thing in the world: Azula was agreeable and thoughtful towards her. It overwhelmed and frightened her. She wanted Azula to just go away so that things could return to normal.
