I love riding the bus. this semester has been the first that i've actually ridden the bus from my apartment. It sounds cliched, but there are so many different people to watch. People watching just so happens to be one of my favorite activities. It's fun to imagine why they have certain facial features or why they are wearing what they are wearing

I like riding buses too. I didn't really like it in high school because taking the bus twice a day for four years gets pretty old (especially since I always had to stand, so I couldn't relax or people-watch), but now I only take buses once in a while, so it retains some novelty and I enjoy it again. By the way, I don't know if you like them or not, but I highly recommend Belle & Sebastian (their early stuff mostly) for bus-riding music. I was listening to them while taking the bus last week and realized that a whole lot of their songs have to do with taking buses (maybe that's part of why I like them - because I can relate to songs about mundane stuff like that). The songs "Lazy Line Painter Jane," "The State I Am In," and "The Boy With the Arab Strap" (among others) all make good bus music, and I think you might enjoy them if you haven't heard them. :)
