So You Think You Can Dance is coming to Canada.

CTV says it has signed a deal to make a Canuck version of the popular televised dance contest.

No no no no no no no no no no no no NO.

Oh man the world is going to end in a big fiery explosion of screaming girls and sweaty hot people of ambiguous sexuality!

Also, it should be "So You Think You Can Dance, Eh?" None of this "Let's make it a brand extension of the American version and slap on the word 'Canada,' hey" crap. Even Germany got all non-sarcastic and called it "You Can Dance."

This would never happen under a Mixed-Member Parliament. Vote YES to MMP!

Hmm, dancing is awesome. Dancing for money is possibly more awesome. As I've never seen a full ep of this particular reality series I can't comment other than there are a bunch of people who would be rather interesting to see on that, like the slavic dance teacher lady from my friend's dance studio...

It's shows like this one that completely humble me as a dancer. I think it's great Canadians are going to get a chance to prove their dancing worth... I just don't look forward to all the people asking me if I'm going to audition. I already get enough of that with Canadian Idol.
