Today was amazing...
The CFO at my company has season tickets and sold his Saturday night tickets to me for the Sox game, so it was a big disappointment to Jimmy and I last night when the game got postponed til today, giving us less than 12 hours notice. But he blew off a family party and we made our way to Fenway, and it was an amazing game. For those of you who somehow missed it, Sox were down 2 runs in the 9th inning. There were two men on base, 2 outs, and 2 strikes against Ortiz. Then he foul tipped it and I thought for sure he had struck out. I thought I was going to throw up I was so nervous, and then he destroyed the next pitch. As soon as he hit it you knew that it was gone, and Fenway went INSANE. I have to say...we really got lucky. Not only was the weather today way better than last night, but we caught an awesome game. And our seats were pretty good too :-)
