i found, growing up in england, that having only 4 tv channels wasn't a set back as we had quality over quantity (usa's cable tv with thousands of channels). I have less than 20 channels despite the options offered.

If I watched Red Dwarf now, I'd laugh my ass off.. while my gf looked at me funny not being able to understand the accents :p

I know where your coming from about the accents, I am addicted to Changing Rooms and it took me a while to get used to some of the thicker accents,or better example Will on Ground Force,now there is an accent thick as summer pudding.lol

Love british tv though,pisses me off that I don't get BBC America anymore now that we switched to a new cable system.

btw,who is your favorite character from RD?
