At the knock on the door, Tom cringed slightly. He'd hoped to get out of the office on time and get home to Dev, but if one of his students needed him he would stay, not only because it was his job but he truly still couldn't turn away from anyone in need. When the door opened and he saw his lover's smile he grinned with pleasure wondering if his beautiful boy had some wicked scheme up his sleeve. "You can have anything you want, sweetheart."

"Now, that's what I like to hear," Dev laughed and entered the room to give Tom a long kiss hello. "How was your day, baby?"

"Mmmm." Tom hummed into the kiss before pulling back to stroke a hand through Dev's hair. "Doesn't matter, because now that you're here it just got immeasurably better."
