Apparently I've been cutting out some of the fat in my life--and oh the irony of that phrase!  I've just realized that there are actually several "relationships" of sorts that are unnecessarily dragging on.  One would even be Mr. Mathews, aren't ya'll so proud?  Not that I have really talked to him since he graduated, but I'm tired of being the one

You really have to learn how to express yourself and not be so reserved.

How have things been with you? Still enjoy Reno or would you really rather be back in the sunny south?

I'm still here in Iraq. I extended until Sept. I know, I'm crazy. What can I say? I did go home for a few weeks though. That was nice. Took my youngest to Disney for his spring break. Had a great time. Spent way too much money. It was worth it.

Oh you'd better believe I'd rather be smack back in the South, haha. I'm looking forward to some sunny, humid weather finally!

And yes, I believe you might really be crazy... but it's good to hear that you're doing well and have gotten to see your family. Hopefully this time and experience has given you the opportunity to move on with your life, too, though i know that it can be difficult no matter what. Is your buddy still over there with you too? I thought your other cop friend went to Iraq as well.

No, he went home in Feb. If you like hot dry weather, we are about to get in it again. Last year, we had 127 straight days over 100 and 98 of those over 110. The highest, in the sun, was 143. But at least it is not humid, lol. How nlong will you be home? Enjoy it while you can.

That's part of why I cut down my friends on facebook one time, well that and I was mildly depressed and it was either cut nearly everyone out or close the account. I had 140+ 'friends' people that I never talked to even once, or only once. so unless I had actually daily 'friend' contact with them I deleted them. It's amazing when a list of 'friends' drops from nearly 140/150 to not even 30.

Some people have been re-added to the list, but it's not the 'I just got facebook be my friend' kind.

i'm not sure if i can get down to fayette thursday--and not sure you want this raging cold i seem to have acquired overnight :(

Sadness... but yah, I can't do a cold either. LoL I think my bosses would kill me if I missed any more work than vacation already, haha. If not this round, then definitely next! Oh, but we are also planning to stop at Tanger on the way home on Sunday so maybe you can meet us up there! That'd be fun, sick and all!

Well considering I'll actually be up in Spartanburg on Fri-Sun afternoon I don't think you'll need to spend too much money! :) The infamous Sara Hale is getting hitched at that methodist church down town and my family and I are staying at the downtown Marriott. w00t! The schedule will be super hectic, but if you want to do a lunch on Sunday with Erin and my family, you're more than welcome! Erin Fowler is coming down with my cutest god son and staying with me after the wedding... but the reception should be done at like 10:45ish anyway Sat night.
