I mentioned to my internship supervisor that you and I had attempted to navigate Pitt with Mapquest, and he laughed at me...He also pointed out the Meth Clinic two blocks down from the ARL. We are BADLY located. It's not quite as scary around Hamilton Avenue as it was in Hazelwood, but still...I'm so glad it's still light out when I leave to catch my bus!

I laugh at their fear of 3 minute speeches! That seems excessively easy for a college course! It's like listening to freshman whimper about having to write a five page, double-spaced paper. You're not sure if you want to pat them on the head or give them a swift kick to the rear.

Did you mention Hazelwood? Did he comment on that if so? I still want to know if we were justifiably skittish or if it really was a place where people don't wait until after dark to shoot you...they get up early and take their job seriously. Start shooting people at 5 on the dot after walking uphill in the snow both ways just for the sheer hell of it. Okay I'll stop now; I really shouldn't pick so much
