On Voting

Bringing up politics and talking politics amongst friends can be taboo. It gets moreso closer to the election. You know it, I know it. Farther out, people will debate politics a lot but closer to the actual thing...well, people like to keep their friends and not cause undo stress for themselves. That's cool. YOU! It is good to know you are still around and kicking! We both tend to disappear at times...

Exactly so, although it's more than just not bitching about who's in office. People who are proud of not voting also admit that they don't have that right. But to me, they shouldn't bitch about who's in office, the process, the government, anything. To be honest, though, I am mad at people who don't vote and don't bitch about anything, too. Such apathy is deplorable. It is these kinds of people that just turn the other way when bad things happen to other people. It is these kinds of people who allowed Hitler to come to power, to take it to one logical and almost cliched extreme.

By the by...keep your eyes on TN for the next few days. You might see something fun...
