The Joker is revealed (cut for spoilers)
I friggin love this version of the joker. I know this seems blasphemous, but I have always hated the Joker on screen, yes even Nicholson's version bugged me because it seemed way to unrealistic. This gives me damned nightmares! I have always liked the original Joker the serial Killer, because he is scary, the Joker that is more of a trickster that annoys Batman is a bad side effect of the 1950's comic code.
the Glasgow smile is a nice touch, and ties in with the original inspiration for the Joker The 1928 film, the man who laughs about a man who is disfigured to always look like he is smiling.
some Internet nerds are getting their feathers in a ruff' because it's "too different", and they are the exact same people that were demanding it to be "not the same old joker", and to those fickle assholes I say "piss off!"
