If Cass decided to try to get to know Tim better beyond the professional assists they occasionally give each other, how would she go about it?

Sparring. :Db Possibly also stalking, or poking Steph and Kon about Tim, but mostly sparring. It's totally how Cass bonds with people.

What does Tim think of Cass at the moment?

Well, they are at least mostly past the point where Tim was kind of freaked out by her. They aren't very close or anything but Tim definitely admires and respects her dedication. He's still unsure about the best way to go about talking to her but at least that won't stop him from trying now. Which is good cause his future is kind of... really uncertain right now and so he'll want to make sure she knows his Plans for it. His behavior towards her will most likely stay 'thoughtful but professional' until... something? He's poked more? Yay for the emotionally closed off, orz. Basically he think's she's cool, he just doesn't know what he's doing.

Cass becomes Batman, how does it happen? (Or maybe just The Bat, seeing as she's not a man.)

Oh socially retarded Batfamily. Clearly we need to do that sleepover post Steph and I were talking about sometime, if only to shove Cass and Tim in a room together and make them hang out. [laughs]

. . . oh god. There are two possibilities. One is the Batman Beyond AU: Bruce retires and tells Cass to take over for him. I can only see this happening if Dick and Tim are both out of the picture, which is already a problem. And Bruce would take over as her direct mentor, and Babs and Steph would so fail at dragging her away from him ever, so Cass would basically be the scariest Bat ever.

The other one is Rocks Fall, Everyone Dies, in which none of the existing Batfamily is left capable of crimefighting except Cass, and yet Cass is not driven to homicide or suicide over it. Again, Cass is the scariest Bat ever. Although she might hunt down Alpha and make him her Robin. Which I'm imagining now and can't stop giggling at.

Tim finds out about Robin IV and the War Games arc; how does he respond?

I read some of Laura's camp threads! And. That's the sum total of my X-23 knowledge, ahahaha. But she's a Wolverine clone, right? So she'd have the upper hand at first -- Cass canonically gets topped by metas who aren't crazy combat-fu people -- until Cass got a feel for her body language and abilities, at which point I think Cass would top because Cass is godmode like that. Cass is also Assassin Jesus, so if the fight went on long enough, there would probably be bonding and Jesusing attempts! That might or might not work. I don't know the canon well enough to be sure, heh.

What character from any of your canons do you want in camp the most? Why?

Hee, so is Cass. She just. Doubles as a Jesus in very specific circumstances. (Including the "dies for your sins and rises from the dead" part. Oh canon. I'm kind of surprised they stopped short of making her the Angel of the Bat, really.)

I answered this for Tohru, so you get the other character I'd kill for, which is Barbara Gordon. I adore Cass's interactions with her parent figures, and . . . three out of four of them would be kind of problematic in camp. (Batman is Batman. David Cain would be awesome if someone could pull him off, and I'd kill for him too, but nobody knows about him unless they've read my canon. Lady Shiva is slightly less obscure and no less awesome, but just wouldn't work in camp at all.) Babs is the exception! Because she has camper-aged incarnations and counselor-aged ones (--I think Oracle's a counselor, anyway), she has a zillion different canons but none of them have too much backstory to obsess over (even comicsverse Oracle), and she could fit well into camp. And she'd break the camp Batfamily in the
