Advent Children is choice.
Recommendations:

[1] Escaflowne: The Movie (some of the most beautiful anime folk-esque storytelling ever)

[2] Empire of the Sun (British boy, abandoned, lives on in WWII refugee camps, also starring John Malkovich)

Two movies related to the two you mentioned. Empire is one of my all-time favorites.

i've heard a lot of rave reviews about escaflowne, both movie and series(i believe), so i might have to go out and pick that up, i have heard a bit about empire of the sun, sounds good, prolly just not as advertised per say. anyway, thx for commenting, anyone else that has good movie reviews, anime or not, please, feel free to write in, i might transfer this page into a movie and diner(restaurant) review page
