Working Hard or Hardly Working?

If you work in an office... you have to read this artice about 25 species of co-workers. I classified all the people in my department as "Bitter Oldtimers" although they fall into other categories as well.

I relate most with the The Sensitive Thespian, The Prankster, and The Young Hopeful.

*edit* I think I will always be the Young Hopeful in my current position. I work with all women from their late 40s into early 60s who tell me how their children are my age or older. That a huge age difference that effects how I work and relate with them. I wish I got more credit for doing a good job, but it seems that everyone thinks that people my age aren't hard workers or don't do a good job and slack off.

I also wish that it wasn't a bad thing to work fast. I have heard all the time that people think I go to fast, well why does something that is simple have to take forever. As long as you aren't making many mistakes isn't it better and more efficient from a business stand point to work faster?

I just realized this is my first post in awhile... go figure it is about work. That is so sad that work is consuming my life. I think about in the morning, when I am driving there, when I am there, when I am on break, and driving back home. Now I am writing about it at home... so I will stop now.

Tell me what you think about the article!
