Hello there! I'm not much of an active person when it comes to posting journal entries, but since summer is drawing near for me, I'm about to change that. Anyway, I've been following your old community for awhile now, so I'm familiar with you through there. I understand how annoying it may seem that I would want to be your friend because of that, but I think that you should know that you've been a big part of my inspiration just by running that community. I also took the liberty in reading this, and we do have similar interests and such, so it isn't that I can only relate to you through a fandom! Sorry if this was too long, I just didn't want to seem suspicious or anything. n_n;;
It's not creepy at all! One of my biggest worries with abandoning the community is that the people involved wouldn't want to talk to me anymore, so it's nice to know that that's not the case! I would love to be friends with you. *adds*
I must ask, since your writing/have written a paper on TB in lit have you encountered 'The Chalet School' series by E B Dyer? If you haven't it's quite a good series and it mentions TB quite a bit.
I already wrote the paper a while ago--it was my requirement for graduating college--and I suppose I really should update this post to reflect that. But anyway, I had not heard of that series. Even though I'm done with the project I'm still interested in the topic, so I'll have to check it out. Thanks!

And its a sixty book series about a English Boarding School in Austria (well they move a lot but they start there) and there is a lot of focus on health. The headmistriss marries a doctor who speacilises in TB and they remain in close contact with the school. I quite like them, but your only issue is they might be abit hard to find as they started in the 20's and finished in the 60's.
Actually I was led here because of 20_kuribohs. *laughs* It took me this very long time to go here because I'm a bit shy in approaching long-time GX writers. Hehe.

P.S. By the way, I find it amusing that you have a cat named Pikachu when it is supposedly an electric mouse, of all things. xD

XD; It's fine, I'm somewhat honored that you saw me as someone who had any idea what the hell they were doing! No, I'm a total newb. My fandom for about four years was Death Note and I only just started writing fic for anything else. What made you decide to watch GX/join the fandom? For me it was finding an abridged series and becoming vaguely obsessed with Shou. My sister had been trying to get me to watch Duel Monsters for a while, and I decided I would but that I was watching GX first!
Nothing for you to think, I just haven't updated my information in a while. No reason for you to assume it wasn't true. She was a pretty kickass old lady cat, yes. She taught some of our kittens how to get into all kinds of trouble before she died.

Aww, it's wonderful to hear from you again! Not everything in this post is still accurate...hearing that someone is actually looking at it is probably a good reason to revise it. XD; That's a really sweet thing for you to say, I think you're fabulous too. I hope everything is going well for you. Are you still in college now, or did you move past that?
So happy to talk to you again!!! I'm in my senior year for Broadcast Journalism. I'm pursuing writing still; now that I'm Associate Editor for the school paper. I plan to work in print media once I graduate, either in newspapers or magazines :) I only have the second semester and a summer internship left and I'll be graduating soon enough. Life has been good. Um, have you set a date for your wedding...or are you already married? :)
