damn max, that was one of the best entries i've read. very fun to read through. and, we've been through this before...they did run out of alcohol, the keg was empty. thats why most people left no more than 20 minutes after we did. and i know that they charge for alcohol thats why i was checking my wallet on the path down to little dume.

i'm gonna mention carl in my upcoming post as well...he had a really big impact on me...

Easier way to view your all friends' LJs anonymous March 20 2004, 21:05:50 UTC
Particularily if you have lots of friends' livejournals and spend hours clicking on each one seeing which have updated (some never update anyways), a news aggregator is a great idea. Each livejournal generates what's called an RSS feed, which shows your entries and headlines in an organized way when used in a program such as Amphetadesk. Using that, you can see automatically when your friends' livejournals are updated and read them from a browser.

If you don't know about these already, they're really useful.
LiveJournal RSS feeds are located at "http://www.livejournal.com/users/USERNAME/data/rss/", replacing "USERNAME" with whatever your friend's username is.

I apologize if this sounds like spam, but I just discovered it today and thought I might spread the word. You can search Google for more news aggregators, there's a bunch out there. They also work for some news sites. Basically, most blogs have RSS feeds if you look around (Xanga's : "... )
