New job is tomorrow

Can't really decide how I feel about going to my new job. I guess I should not be surprised but I feel nothing about the old job. No unhappiness at all. Can't even get any nostalgia going. Ready to go to work at the new place. Oh dear god do not let me oversleep or something stupid. I guess with the new dog that will be pretty hard to do.

When I took my current job, with which I'm now pretty happy, I was a bundle of aprehension and ambivalence. Even given the suck that was my old gig :-)

Come on, Narnie, you are fabulous, and your new job is just the beginning of many wonderful things that are going to happen to you.

When you leave your old job today, (assuming you are there), put your hand on the door, turn and have a look for exactly five seconds, take a deep breath, and put it all behind you.
