Yesterday, I got the initial cover designs for the second book of the Glassmakers trilogy back from my cover artist, the lovely and talented Rachel Cole of Littera Designs. For the first book in the series, I bought a beautiful pre-made cover:

Lovely. But to go with the first cover I'd want the second version of Facets. I love the frame but it's a very different look.

Although I like #1, I think #2 is a better fit with the first book. Also, nice covers! :)

Thank you all very much for the great feedback! I too was tending more towards the second design. I think I'm going to ask Rachel if she can add some more hints of Prague in the background, so the sky won't be so empty. :)
