Sometimes even I feel emo...

Most of you are aware that I lost my job. That was back in March...i've been jobless since, but I have been using my time to try and finish my album, post my resume on the internet, and try to hang out with the few friends I have left around here. In July Kreutz took off to Las Vegas to go to school and I can feel that loss deep in my veins. I mean ( Read more... )

I totally feel you right now.

I was jobless forever. I ended up becoming a freakin waitress... i never would have thought...

As for losing friends who seem to be moving on in life without you: it's hard to take somethig out of it but the time alone can help with introspection, or as i like to think of it, driving myself completely insane.

He black hole thing: st louis is a total pit. anywhere in the midwest is really. the economy in this country is fucked and so is everyone in it. plan big... move to canadia lol

Yeah...thanks for the response. I am actually thinking of moving out of this sticking state once I acquire the funding to. I would really like to hang out with you sometime. We have talked a lot and you seem to be an interesting and honest person. Those are rare virtues to find in this word. Either way I will try to keep my head up.

I feel like this sometimes. And when I say sometimes, I mean most of the time. The jobless thing sucks, I can totally relate. Hell, even having a mindless job doesn't make me feel much better. But keep your head up, boy-- you're too awesome for there to not be a turn-around. Might I suggest researching places you'd like to work for and handing out your resume in person as opposed to searching online listings & e-mailing?

Thanks for the response to my post. As for the going to places and giving my resume I tried that. No one is doing that anymore. All the company's here all want there resumes sent to them online. It is a pointless task.

I'm in the same boat with the whole jobless thing. I myself havnt had a job in forever! I've only ever had two jobs but those werent really much of jobs at all and drove me pretty crazy. I cant wait to get a real job, babysitting and a flyer route just didnt cut it for me.
I can also totally relate on the whole "few friends I have left around here." but man, you seem totally kool, I dont see how you cant find other friends as well as the friends you already have now who are still there. I mean, you can make new friends everyday through friends and their friends, right? I mean, I know how it can be hard with loosing that friend who's been there for you through everything and has moved on with other things. But I'm sure he'll end up either calling you or emailing you or something when/if he has time.
Cheer up dude, I'm pretty sure something amazing will come in time. Just get yourself out there.
