the healthcare system is alive and well, just not so much me...

i have no benefits from work because i'm part-time, and i waived my student benefits because i'm covered under my father's work coverage for so long as i'm an undergraduate, but a few months ago his company was bought out by some huge multinational and they canned his whole department to bring in their own people, and so his coverage expired at the end of his severance package last month. so i'm fucked until september, basically.

(THANK GOODNESS at least i had the good sense to have dental surgery last year before my teeth actually started bothering me...)
