35 week check-up...

Two or so pounds since the last check-up two weeks ago. Blood pressure still low and normal. Having fake starter contractions now. Spooky's heartbeat in the 140's. Dr. estimates that she's 5 1/2 to 6 pounds. And my cervix has begun to dilate, efface, and thin out. It feels mushy, and is beginning to ripen, she said. Supposedly this is normal

About a month to go, you must be so excited! I envy you. I haven't even felt a kick yet and I'm ready for the baby to come out.

Less than a month to go until the due date, but she could come anytime. I'm pretty much past the danger point. I think I'm more nervous than excited. The house is still not baby friendly. Everything needs to be finalized and set-up. We have most of what we need, just need to get it put into place and everything else put away. I've been meaning to do it during the day when Cy's at work, it's just that lately I've been having so many fake contractions and whatnot that I don't want to overstrain myself. I need to ask the doctor about that. I spent most of the day Sunday just laying on the couch watching movies. I couldn't move. My appointments are every Thursday until she's born. She isn't kicking as much as she has been, just being very squirmy at times. Need to ask about that too
