On Sunday I leave everything I have ever know...as James and I are moving to Calgary. It is going to be numbingly cold, but I have a job...cause, well I got a promotion. I will be doubling my income, paying less in living expenses and with the money I will be making I will be able to come home semi often...as long as I staff my store properly.

oh god, you'll so miss the mountains! congrats on the promotion and all that kinda stuff. if you get a pair of silk long johns, they'll keep you nice and toasty warm ;)

and isn't it sad how calgary, and vancouver are cheaper than the okanagan to live? it's why we moved too.

Oh, I WILL miss the Okanagan sooo so much, but for right now, I am going where the money is. I kinda think I will be back though...one day.

try www.landsend.ca or marks' work warehouse. if you get the silk underwear, it fits so much better under your clothes, and works fantastic. i used to use it back home when i was working in the mills, because it was thinner, easier to move around and kept me at a great temperature.. something like this

I do, we have a place...it's in the NE of Calgary. I am working in Sunridge Mall...and our basement suite is a 5 - 10 minute walk to the LTR. Uhm, I officially get there tomorrow...buy bus, ugh. And then hop in a cab to the new place.

...so why Airdrie?

Neat, I work about 10 minutes from Sunridge.

I went with Airdrie because the houses we could afford in the city were awful, and I don't like city life anyways.
