Jonah had a plan. He knew he wanted to take Peg out somewhere and he knew there was absolutely no way she was going to let him so the solution was very simple. He wasn't going to tell her. Peg was ready, somewhat. She just had some top and a pair of black jeans and decided that she looked halfway decent to go out to a bar with a few friends.

She opened the door, rather surprised to see Jonah standing there.

".... Hey?"

Jonah held up the blindfold he'd brought. "We're going out, put this on."

"... A blindfold."

"... What? You aren't allowed to know where we're going."

Peg liked the silence between them, her cheek pressed against his shoulder. He was so... kind. She was almost unaccustomed to someone like him.

Jonah gently kissed her forehead, speaking softly. "Almost there," he promised as they approached the building.

"I'm excited," Peg said with a soft chuckle. She sat up even more, ready to leave the car.

He chuckled, squeezing her hand. "You should be," he told her. "Stay here."

He got out of the taxi and paid the driver, running around to open her door and help her out. "Ready?"

"Drinks. You can make me one'a your fruity drinks," Peg said with a wide smirk.

She went to fiddle with the music player.

Jonah laughed, going over to the bar. "Okay," he agreed. "What's your favorite color?"

"Blue. Can ya make me anything blue?" she asked, heading over to the bar herself, slipping into a stool.

He looked through the contents of the bar, looking to see if they had anything. "Yeah, I think so," he nodded, pulling a few bottles out. "Do you like pineapple? Or would you rather have a martini?"

Peg kissed him, softly, silent after that.

She slowly lifted her head to glance at the clock. "Almost time."

Jonah breathed in and nodded, kissing her cheek again. "I guess we better go catch the countdown."

Peg set the glass down on the table and flopped onto the big, cushy bed.

He laughed and sat next to her on the edge of the bed, turning on the TV on the wall. "Comfortable?"

Peg sighed quietly, sliding her hands up his sides until she held his face in them again. She kissed him deeply, gently nibbling his bottom lip.

Jonah gave a small gasp against her lips, settling into her. He wasn't shy with her any longer. He'd quickly fallen into a comfortable rhythm with her and he didn't hesitate to slip his arms around her to unclasp her bra.
