These company parties were not Jonah's favorite. He didn't normally spend any more time at them than what was absolutely necessary, making nice with the corporate schmucks and taking advantage of the open bar. At least he had Peg with him, this time. He'd asked her to come and help him survive the night, and had honestly been a little surprised

"It could be worse," Peg said softly before sneakily taking another pig-in-a-blanket. She grinned at him. "It's makin' ya happy anyway," she said.

Jonah grinned. "That you came wtih me, yeah," he laughed. "You're making me look good.
I'm pretty sure some of the guys I work with thought I was gay."

For that, after sipping her mixed drink, Peg kissed him soundly.

"And now?"
