Peg thought Jonah sounded a little too excited when he called her to come over, but she didn't think too much of it. Not when it was Jonah she was talking to.

So, she headed over this his apartment, through the lobby, down the hall, and up the elevator. So, she was twenty-two today. So what?

Jonah was just setting everything in it's place and even lighting a candle or two because he figured it couldn't hurt. Right?

He checked his watch, guessing she'd probably be knocking on his door any second now.

And knock Peg did, waiting, not dressed at all for the occasion. She'd just thrown on a pair of jeans and a sweater over a white tanktop and headed out after her shower. She already started to shrug off her coat.

His heart leapt when he heard her knock, hurrying to open it for her. He grinned at the sight of her, letting out a breath.
