Wow. Seriously, Ling, that's amazing. I love the imagery. You can totally feel the unrequited thing between them. And I'm getting the sense that there's something more between them. I want to say that it's sort of a Twighlight Zone thing, but not in a bad way. The episode where the woman realizes at the end that she's a mannequin and has to go back to let someone else have a turn as a human. But not in a bad way. I'd love to see this as a full story or novella. =)
