Today I had a good time playing in the gamelan at graduation, except that we had to load the numerous and unwieldy instruments out of school, into the cathedral, out of the cathedral, and back into school. School is going to be different without the people that are leaving, it's kind of sad. I wonder what the class next year will be like. I'm ( Read more... )

i know that feeling--when last year's seniors left, my whole school environment changed. but it works out and everything, so don't worry.

Because Cornish has such a small music department, the people that graduate sometimes determine what kind of projects you can be involved in the next year, so it can be a whole different place musically as well as socially. Which is fine, of course. It keeps things interesting.
