The basic ones are completely free! But there's a small fee if you'd like to make a customized one. Kyouya has the exact price list [in fact he wouldn't doubt if he was still working on it.] but they should all be very affordable.

You would have to ask Rapunzel about that, but in her world the lanterns were always released on her birthday. It might just be coincidence, but...who knows?

I think these particular lanterns-the ones that we'll be using-can mean whatever the person wants them to mean. Personally I think of them as that little light of hope that one day our dreams will be realized.
