Yes~! It's a common game back in my world. Usually it's held in a graveyard or a notable "haunted" place and students will go through it with only a flashlight to guide their way!

Surely there are...

Scarier things.

Oh of course! But this is usually just for casual fun, especially since this is going to be at a school.

There are a number of events going on, aren't there? I wouldn't be surprised if there are still more to come!

Will you be participating in any of them?

I promised Isabelle-san I would go to her party, in a costume. Well, my regular clothes, since I don't have any costumes. And I think that the whole town is making me participate any time I step outside!

Oooh I saw her announcement. It's next weekend isn't it? I might try and attend as well. [though without Haruhi he will be so sad sob. maybe he'll drag Kyouya to be his costume buddy-GAAASSSSSPP THEY TOTALLY COULD. anyway, enough of that.]

You should try one of the local stores! I'm sure they have plenty of costumes. If not I know someone who knows how to make costumes.

Hm, but I have [holds his hands up] nothing to bargain with! Well, I'm not selling the things I came here with, am I? They're all I have! What would you like to go as?

[blinks.] Has no one told you that you have money?

And I still have yet to decide...

Someone else told me we have no money!

No, no, you do!

Well sort of. It's not like physical money that's we're used to, but we have our own accounts with money already in it! They're called Dream Points, and you use your Dreamberry to transfer the points over. It's sort of like a credit card, but I'm not sure if you're familiar with that.

...No! So I give them... Points?

Reply

spectaculaire October 15 2011, 22:37:37 UTC
Yeah! You can just give them your Dreamberry and they'll know what to do.

But what do the points mean? What do they do with them? Will mine run out? Where can I get them?

[so many questions!]

Ah, let's see. The points are representing coins. When the clerk takes your Dreamberry, they just attach it to their own machine and it automatically reads your account from your Dreamberry! If you have a card they just swipe that. But, ah, I believe we all get some kind of allowance, but you can always earn points by getting a job and get paid.
