As I mentioned before, I've been putting together a night of genre theater for five months, and on Monday, it happened. There were no major disasters, I gave a better performance than I'd ever given in rehearsals, the audience laughed and applauded madly throughout the show, people actually got the subtext of my play, and it was basically something

Really looking forward to watching this this weekend! It reminded me of the time SO MANY years ago when you were in ... a Gilbert & Sullivan show (was it Pirates of Penzance or The Mikado?) at Rice, and it streamed live and it was SO EXCITING to see internet friends in video! :)
