that is utterly revolting. And the implications are worse. If "biofuel" took the place of oil we could end up dumping anything, everything, and everyone dead in a biig furnace to power our cars. I'll wait the decades for practical hydrogen and stick to my bicycle, thank you very much.
well, actually, it's a fine transition between oil and hydrogen, so long as we don't get stuck on it, and in the meantime use nonedible cow byproducts rather than raising creatures for that purpose. Still, weigh the options, solar power? Or stewing carcasses?
I just feel bad for places like Tibet where Cows are sacred. All those monks won't be able to ride the Swedish trains! Perhaps they will make Yak guts trains in Tibet. or maybe they'll continue to just ride the animals instead of burning their scraps to power a gigantic metal monster that eats tourists and commuters.
Although I do like the fact that they are using parts that are normally thrown away or made into McDonalds hamburgers (ohhhh snaaaaap, buuuuurn,) it is a rather silly short term solution that really isn't economical in the long run or on a large scale (like many alternative energy sources.
We need some hydrogen and some cold fusion. So after you graduate college your going to do that right? I'll write and direct a play about it and take it on a school/community tour. Word?
