I've come to find that even when you offer an explanation, no one is paying attention anyway.
they will ask you to qualify yourself, and then tune you out.
while I could challenge the concept of the truly unique quality of individual perspective with ideas about universal collective truths... I won't, because it's all white wall conversation anyway... and I've not the energy, or the desire. that would be to digress.
because I guess all of this is to say that I smirked in the best way possible after reading this... I felt slightly empowered... even if for completely different reasons then were intended...
oh and the bookshelf looks great.

It's when you're faced with unfair criticism that you need to be reminded that you don't really owe an explanation to anyone else other than yourself. There's always someone else who sees things your way, enough to not get caught up in what a few people have to say. If you feel self righteous and true with your intentions, no one else has room to question your motives.
I like to think that the only judgement that matters is the one you hold of yourself.
