You couldn't have said it better. I guess it's kind of inspiring, but it's difficult because Dolores is so unchanging (at least as far as I've read) that she's not exciting or intriguing and you can't feel sympathy for her.
And this is definitely NOT a book I'd expect graders to look for on the AP exam. At least it's a quick read lol.
it completely idealizes every way i've ever thought of myself when i was fat. i started thinking "why am i fat, how did i get this way?" and i made the decision to try weight watchers/dieting/basketball etc.

story line is nice...but the way he portrays Dolores I'd have to disagree with....
