anybody know anything about legal stuff regarding tenants/landlords in AA/MI???

ok so i still don't know for sure if my landlord is going to let me stay in my apartment for the fall semester. he told me in email it wouldn't be a problem but he didn't write it into the lease so i don't know. i just emailed him telling him that i love my apartment and really want to stay so please let's work something out. so i guess we'll

email is considered a viable written form of communication that is admissible in court these days. So as long as it's sent from an email address with a signature saying it's from him, that should hold up and bind him to letting you stay....
