I drank my coffee too fast and scorched my mouth, but for some reason I kept it in to save face in front of public. and it saddens me that the idea of going back to Houston weekend after weekend feels to me a reprieve. Gah! To quote Continental Divide, "I'm pretty sure I don't know what I'm in this for...at all...at all..." .

But I don't mind the heat, especially when you get into a piercingly warm car after being in an air-conditioned space for too long amongst the plastic and metal amalgams of chairs and grey carpets with dull light beating on you. In writing my philosophy essay today I realized that I'm in need of an English professor to sharpen my skills.

with absolute imagination that I can achieve proper self-control, I finally let go. Bygones were no longer mere bygones but further whittled into hardly discernable occurrences that briefly adhered to me like old tape. Fatigue is the great equalizer of the living, and sleep can only help so much.

and photosynthesis gives life without me seeing it, even early-bakery goods thrive without my whafting but sometimes if I cannot touch you then I lose all senses and sink into something seperate from nothing but akin to every doubt I've ever had. April come on already and promptly relieve this month from duty.

Controlling imaginary city-states only loses its flair when you've conquered the world and there is nothing left to do but start over again. I feel tired and every morning I wake up I wish it was Thursday because on Thursdays the anticipation for the weekend begins and we all know the anticipation is always much better than the actual deed. I started a part-time job in Austin that is simply an extension of the work I was formerly doing in Houston. Same job, different city.
