Tonight's episode of Castle involves a guy who was killed by a gargoyle falling off of a building... and all I can think is, dude, that's a GROTESQUE, not a GARGOYLE. DUH.

Architecture nerd.

I do the same in NYC-- there are some very cool pseudo-gargoyles around Gramercy park.

But being non-functioning, they are, indeed, grotesques.
