It is also the song on that asian cup commercial, the song was spinning in my head the entire week. ;)

Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Then you get overthrown.

It's a metaphor for a relationship in which the speaker became a complete dick after being given to much power by his partner, and then his partner dumped him for it.

Also can, but I think it's too easy. Sure, the imagery is all there, and this could certainly be the Judeo-Christian God speaking, but it's too pat; I don't like it.

Plus, I like my metaphors a little more personal. But hey, interpretation is all in the eye of the beholder, and thankfully, there is never a correct answer.

hahaha))) when i've heard it first time during the fashion show, i recorded it on my camera. then i got home and was trying to type the words in google search haha.but some words are really tough.. i was surprised it was Coldplay. no doubts its awesome songs...
