Flash really didn't like being a turtle. He just couldn't get used to moving so slowly, for one, and the lack of fingers really bothered him. He hadn't even tried moving from his spot in front of the computer on his desk--there was no way to get down except fall, and it was a lot further to the floor now. And he was getting hungry. Thankfully it didn't take Shayera long to get to where Flash was. She was just grateful Batman was a skunk and wouldn't be doing much to stop her if he even knew what she was up to. She guessed he probably did. He said he would be keeping an eye on her, and she believed him.

She entered Flash's place and tried not to burst into hysterics again. Seeing him in person was funnier than over the internet. She covered her mouth to stifle her laughter.

The turtle looked at Shayera and tilted its head slightly.

Surprisingly, Flash was a very expressive turtle. If he could have spoken, he would have said something like, "here I am."

Really, it was a shame that Shayera had to control herself. Seeing the little turtle look at her like that was hilarious, knowing that it was Flash she was looking at.

Shayera walked over to Flash and scooped him up, able to hold him in one hand. "Come on. Let's get out of here," She told him, still smiling. She walked out of the room and spread her wings to take flight.

She found it a little odd that the first time she had seen Flash since the invasion he was a turtle.

Erk. Being scooped up wasn't really that fun. Flash withdrew himself into his shell, which was admittedly a pretty cool trick, and tried to ignore the sensation of being on an extremely tipsy canoe in the middle of a hurricane out in the ocean.
