If there was a sequel and Emile wasn't in it, would you still see the movie? They definitely set us up for a sequel with the whole Cruncher Block/Mammoth Car storyline, but because of the poor ratings I don't think it'll happen. Even if it does, Emile fired his agent after Speed Racer so it's probably safe to assume that he wouldn't be back on ( Read more... )

Yes. Because I love speed racer. but, I dont think it will be as good. but you never know.

I doubt it'll even happen. I don't think WB is going to give them the money. But it's just something I was thinking about while watching the DVD.

Me too. I've been trying to push it on people but I think this is one of those movies that you can't just watch and decide it's good. If you've got it in your head that you'll hate it, you probably will. :(

I would still see it, but I wouldn't be happy. But I bet it could still rock. Or not, because sequels suck.

They generally do. And the Wachowski's aren't known for having good sequels. *cough* Matrix series *cough*

I'd probably see it, but I can't even think of who could be Speed. Then again, Emile wasn't my first choice for the last movie and I think he did a good job. (Wish we'd gotten more of the classic outfit out of him though.)
