Despite the fact that I own the DVD--I just turned Speed Racer on because it was on a movie channel. Turns out it happened to be an HD channel and it's gorgeous. As geeky as this sounds, the colors are so vivid that my eyes actually started to tear up. Even now I find myself being stunned by the visuals as if I've never seen this movie before. Yeah, I saw the finale on cable, several hours ago. It looked beautiful.

I saw it on again. Hopefully if they keep playing it over and over, people who didn't see it at the theater will watch. This is definitely how it needs to be seen and hopefully they can bring new fans in.

Normal colors all look so dull right now.
