Leaning against the back of the elevator Ian sighed. He liked school. He went willingly but at the end of the day all he really wanted was to be curled up on the couch with both of his girls in his arms.

Smiling as the doors opened he stepped out, quietly placing his bag down, sliding his shoes off too. He had learnt in the last few weeks to be quiet if he didn't know where Brianna was. He'd woken her by accident once and she had cried for hours. Ian never wanted to go through that again. Heading to the living room he smiled seeing both his girls on the couch.

"Is she just about ready for a nap?" He asked.

Mia smiled and nodded. "God I hope so. She didn't take one earlier and I'm so tired," she said lightly as Brianna let out a healthy burp. She chuckled lightly before glancing back up at Ian. She sent a tired smile in his direction. "Hey boyfriend, I missed you." Mia had never been good with the whole emotional aspect of things, but lately it had been easier for her to let Ian in.

"Hey girlfriend, I missed you too." Ian replied, walking over to Mia and dropping a kiss onto her check. Trailing a finger gently down Brianna's cheek he continued, "I'll look after her if she doesn't want a nap. I love looking after my little girl."

Ian walked around the couch and sat gently next to Mia on the couch, "Though I won't mind if I have to spend time with you. I love you just as much as I love my little girl."
