Any connection to your desire to go to Gordon College?

Most schools offer chemistry :)
I doubt you need to go to one with a "good" chemistry program, just one where you can take the courses and majors you want and enjoy everything else about it.

was i involved with this at all (I mean, with Mere Christianity, etc.?)

at any rate, it's pretty cool. i'm glad you know where you're going. I am just not certain whether or not I fit into that at all. And also, I'm not sure that I'm ready to know in which direction I want to go. But I'm sure I'll figure that out at some point in the near future.

I think that's cool that you're able to state your beliefs, and that you've figured it out. I'm still fighting with different ideas, etc. but congrats on getting your own beliefs straight! :)

Believing isn't hard, its keeping that belief that is. If you think about it, many things like fasting seriously, not just to lose weight or anything, without I don't know prayer. I think it would be nearly impossible. Belief is an odd thing, being anti-religion or atheist, is ok. It's you belief; if you believe you have someone to believe in, something? Who knows.
I'm glad you find your niche on your own, not through force feeding or all that craziness.
