I wish I could know exactly what college is going to be like, because I am so anxious about it. I'm staying in Worcester, so it's not like I'm moving across the country, but thats not really what I'm worried about

People seem to think that physical distance is the biggest factor in relationships. And that seems sort of ridiculous to me. I would go nuts if I had a significant other who I saw every day right now because I have a ton of stuff to do. But when they come and visit or you go see them, it basically makes the last few days worth it. The only thing that really matters is never losing touch with things that are happening in their life. Whether its by phone or by AIM or whatever method you prefer communicating by, keep up on day to day things. It sounds dumb, but you'll always have things to keep in mind that way. Ask if that one thing is still bothering them, if you can help them with their work (this is especially important for art-related schools, modeling, ideas, etc.), whatever you can think of to remain involved and remind them that you care. Don't talk every waking moment; take time to yourself, but remain available in case of emergency or what have you. I drive (depending on traffic) 1 1/2 to 2 hours each way to see Vic, and
