So far in 2015, my mom landed in the hospital for three days after extremely severe vertigo that resembled stroke symptoms, my friend Amanda's mom passed away (I never knew her mom but it's awful seeing the normally chipper, bouncy, perky Amanda looking so sad) and my friend Craig from when I lived in Baltimore passed away. Oh, and my right hip

I'm so sorry. It's such a shame we can't get a do-over for this month. I'm not enjoying it either. I sorry about your friend and about your friend's mother and your mom. I hope she is back home and feeling better soon. Also, I hope your hip is better too. You are due for some good luck. I will cross my fingers for you.
