Some things never change. We all remain the same.

All right, perhaps one shot of vodka for each gift in this Twelve Days of Christmas chant was not the wisest of choices to have made. I suppose I should just be thankful that this holiday does not last for an entire month. Otherwise my hangover yesterday, was it yesterday, the day before? would be the least of my concerns ( Read more... )

Aren't you supposed to not be drinking? You know, so you don't turn people into animals or whatever magic stuff you can do.

Hmmm, but doing some shots...I wouldn't have been able to turn that down. Of course I'm not an alcoholic, like you. Maybe I'll do 12 months a year for New Years.

I do not turn people into animals. And I did not drink that much - twelve days of Christmas, increasing numbers of gifts, I could not have had more than 78, maybe 80 shots.

Even if I did overindulge a little, I would not have the magical control to turn people into animals so such a statement is ridiculous on an entirely different level.

...80?!?! How can you drink that much? If there's a potion or something you take before you go out drinking that lets you drink more than you should be able to handle, I wouldn't mind buying the potion.

Oh, I'm sorry, you'd just lose control of your magic and do something else magical without meaning to.

It was not beyond what I could handle. And it was good vodka, but I really should not be thinking about how much I enjoyed the harsh bitter flavor. I think the last few rounds were something else, though. I am not quite sure what.

Peppermint and ginger is good for a hangover. With plenty of water.

I'm sure you've already been told off plenty, so there's no need for me to call you a dumbass.

And just for future reference, Christmas from a personal standpoint is a time to spend with those who are close to you, if you have such people. The rest is just a bunch of extraneous bullshit. For me it's a time to plant myself at my desk and break out the aspirin, but most of us aren't running multi-billion yen businesses, so I'd call that an exception.

Believe me, I am more than familiar with a variety of hangover potion recipes. And given the approaching change in year, they are selling rather quickly. If you are interested in acquiring one for yourself, you should do so rather soon. At this rate, I may run out of fresh gingerroot.

And just for future reference, what exactly does one do while spending time with those they consider close?

Don't need one, thanks. I restrict myself to no more than three in a night.

That depends. When Mokuba was younger we used to play Monopoly. This year he spent a lot of time hanging out with Noa. I suppose the time I spent with Anzu is self-explanatory. Find something you have a shared interest in, I suppose.
