Hey, how'd you make the rock go boom like that? I've never seen rocks go boom before. Not unless you drop them from real high and then Daddy gets mad 'cause I made a mess. But he usually just makes Rishid clean it up. But sometimes I help him 'cause I feel bad if I don't.

Um... you thought what we did was cool? Master says I'm not allowed to do spells against the others yet. But if I practice more, maybe he'll let me. I didn't mean to fall on Mado. I tried to stay up in the air.

Wow! You can fly? That's the most amazing thing in the whole world! Sometimes I try to fly, but I just run and run and run around in circles flapping my hands and I don't go nowhere.

Well, not fly, not yet. Kind of float, I guess. I've been really really really practicing meditating. Master says if I can focus my mind and learn all the right spells, I can be a spellcaster one day.

It's not easy. But I got to learn to focus right. Master can meditate for days and days. I made it through one day once, but then I fell asleep and got in trouble.

Malik and I are gonna race up the tree. It's kinda like a fight. Master says not to use magic against other people yet, 'cause I don't have enough control. But this is all right. Right?
